I was a little worried the 2-3" stones might look too large, but they actually create a really nice, natural-looking bed. They’re a true medium to dark gray that looks great against my black fire pit, and they handled the heat from the first fire without any issues.

The 1-2" stones filled my fire pit perfectly, and the matte gray finish looks way more natural than the shiny rocks I had before. They’ve held up through a few rainy nights without any fading or chipping so far.

I was worried the 3-4" stones would look too chunky in my small fire pit, but the medium-to-dark gray mix actually blends really nicely against the black metal. They've handled several hot burns without cracking or flaking, and the matte finish still looks the same as day one.
